"Rosie Cheeks"
Rosie
Rosie was born in May 2010 with her sister Selene. She was treated very well in the pet shop and as a result is happy and healthy.
Rosie is a very loveable girl and regularly takes pride of place on the sofa of an evening.
She sleeps with me and enjoys sharing time with her sister. Rosie and Selene love bubbles so sparkling water is a real treat for them.
Health
October 2018
Rosie has lymphoma and is being treated with Prednisone. September 2018 Rosie is experiencing difficulties swallowing and after her yearly check up our vet noticed jowel swelling. She has had a biopsy and we are awaiting the results. June 2018 Rosie has been showing signs of adrenal disease. Hair loss at the base of the tail and back is causing us concern. She has received the implant and we hope that this will help. She is being treated at Rutland House, St Helens, a ferret specialist. 2010 Rosie was given the jill vaccination for 1 year. She was neutered in 2011. We ask a ferret rescue about neutering jills' and they advised us to wait until they are adults. Early neutering in jills can cause problems later on in life. |
